Prof Julie Logo

In her blog Prof Julie, a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, lists a dozen reasons why she likes nPOPuk as a "powerful, full featured email alternative to the messaging software that is currently included on windows mobile devices". Strangely, she goes on to say, "The user interface is a bit clunky ... so there was a large learning curve to overcome before I could say I enjoyed using the software."

It's true that in the past this site hasn't fully supported platforms other than Win32, but we're working on that. In the mean time some working on hand held devices will find her installation guide useful.

Smartphone Magazine Award for nPOP uk - 2008

nPOPuk was included in the nominations for Smartphone Magazine Best Software Award 2008. It didn't win, but then one of the judges seemed to think it didn't support SSL, but it always has done, and another said the "Web site needs to be improved greatly", but the site documented in the magainze was not the current site. All very curious!

Floppy Office Logo
